Grand Valley Has Risen To The President's Challenge For The Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation

We are excited to announce that Grand Valley has met the $500 challenge that President, Chief Gary Barbour laid down at the mid-year conference!
 
The GJPD, MCSO, Palisade PD, Fruita PD, and CSP local troop donated $2500 to the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation.  Each agency donated $250, and they received generous matching funds from the local Back the Badge Foundation, which was formed last year in the aftermath of the murder of MCSO Deputy Derek Geer.
 
The funds were presented to Aurora PD’s Steve Redfearn recently at an FBINAA luncheon here in Grand Junction.
