The awards banquet will be held the evening of Wednesday, June 28. We will have FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe speaking and you don't want to miss him. Guests are invited to attend the banquet, purchase additional tickets for them here. *A ticket to the banquet is included with each full conference registration.

Speaker In The Spotlight 

Brenda J. Allen, Ph.D., University of Colorado Denver

Brenda J. Allen (Ph.D., Howard University) is the Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion and a Professor of Communication at the University of Colorado Denver and the Anschutz Medical Campus. Her scholarship and teaching focus on organizational communication and social identity (e.g., gender, race, sexuality, age, ability, nationality, and social class), with an emphasis on diversity in higher education. Among her publications is the groundbreaking book, Difference Matters: Communicating Social Identity. She presents keynote speeches, conducts workshops, and provides consultation on topics such as implicit bias, inclusion in the workplace, strategic planning, culturally-responsive teaching, mentoring, and diversity hiring practices.

Other confirmed Annual speakers include CBI Director Mike Rankin, Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz and Jim Burack the Director of the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
