Call For Articles For The Colorado Police QuarterlyPosted: August 22, 2017 Chiefs: As you know, CACP puts out a periodical known as the Colorado Police Quarterly, originated, coordinated, and edited by Dr. John Reece, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Colorado Mesa University. This has been a highly professional and well-presented journal for our association. As sometimes happens, however, submissions to the journal have been starting to dry up a little, and we could use your help with that. If you have written any articles, newsletter entries, columns, or even particularly noteworthy communications to your troops that you think could be shared with your colleagues, please feel free to submit them. Similarly, if you have employees who have a particular expertise in an area that you think would be of interest to fellow Chiefs, this would be a great opportunity for them to ‘get published.’ They may even have relevant papers or articles that they have submitted for college credit that, with permission, would be appropriate for inclusion in the CPQ. We hate to lose this valuable resource, so please help us in getting some material submitted. The Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation (CFHF) will bring together multi-agency professionals with a variety of specialized skills to respond,and assist any organization with a memorial service befitting a hero as needed.
