Don went to heaven on 10/22/17, surrounded by his family, he will join his son Terry Jarvis who preceded Don in death on 1/15/2004. Don was a dedicated Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Colorado for 40 years. He was also a graduate of the FBI Academy. A special thank you to each and every Lutheran Hospice worker who helped Don do the best he could do through his 4 month struggle at the end.

"Don was a good friend and a real "old timer." He started his career with the Adams County S.O. in the 50's, later became the chief of police in Brighton and then in Golden. Great guy--he will be missed." -Dan Montgomery, Chief of Police (Retired)

You're Invited To A Birthday With The Blue

Posted: October 24, 2017

Hi! I am the “Donut Boy” as seen on Steve Harvey, ABC news national, 60Second Docs and soon to be aired the new Roman Atwood project.

I am 9 years old and have been on a very special mission for the past 14 months : To thank every Police Officer in America and give them each their favorite treat...DONUTS!

After meeting and thanking four deputies in a local store last August, I decided that I wanted to thank every cop in America and remind them that people still care. I founded my program “I DONUT need a reason to thank a cop” and have been working very hard to fulfill my mission ever since.

My journey has taken me to 18 states thus far and allowed me to distribute over 28,000 donuts to Officers across the nation.

I am currently working on a very special mission. On November 5, I will turn 10 years old and to celebrate my birthday, I would like to thank as many Officers as possible.

How will I accomplish that? By hosting a “Tyler’s 10th Birthday with the Blue Roadtrip.” 10 states, 10 days and 10 epic events. (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota.)

Click here for your invitation, Colorado!

Each event will boast thousands of donuts, gifts for Officers, a birthday cake and coffee. I would like to see 100s of Officers at each event, but I need a little assistance in getting the invitations out!

I think you will find the following two videos very helpful in learning more about my mission to thank every Police Officer in America!

Thanks a million,

Tyler Carach aka: The Donut Boy
