We have three membership types.

  • An "Active" member is a current police chief for a Colorado police agency. Annual dues are based on the number of sworn officers on staff:
    • 1-9 sworn officers: $187.50
    • 10-19 sworn officers: $300
    • 20-49 sworn officers: $600
    • 50-75 sworn officers: $975
    • 76 and over: $1,500
  • An "Associate" member is a member of a state, county, municipal, or federal law enforcement agency or division operating within the State of Colorado:
    • $125
  • "Retired" member is a police chief that retired or resigned from a Colorado police agency:
    • $0

Apply Today For The Law Enforcement Executive Certification Program

Executive Certification through the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police is acquired through a combination of academic achievement; law enforcement experience at the municipal, county, state, or federal level; experience as a Chief of Police, Director of Public Safety or equivalent; continuing education as a student or instructor; the publication of articles relevant to law enforcement, and service as a board member of a law enforcement association.

The CACP Executive Certification program works to acknowledge our members who meet these requirements to be formally recognized in a public setting for their commitment to the professionalism of Colorado law enforcement.

Hosted by the FLETC Cyber Division, with support from the FLETC’s Legal Division and the eLearning Branch, this event will offer multiple presentations in a variety of current cyber related topics.
