Posted: April 19, 2018

We'd like to thank Tactical Medical Solutions Inc. for its continued support of CACP. Tactical Medical Solutions was a break sponsor at the 2018 Mid-Year Conference and we are glad they were able to join us.

Tactical Medical Solutions® is a global leading developer and manufacturer of pre-hospital medical gear for the tactical and civilian world. They were founded in 2003 by a Special Forces medic who created the SOF® Tactical Tourniquet. Their tourniquet is now one of only two approved by the Department of Defense and was selected as the tourniquet of choice for the American Red Cross. While their original purpose was supporting the military, environments changed and TacMed progressed in to servicing law enforcement, fire, EMS, rescue, and now even civilians. As a result, the product line has expanded greatly and is constantly evolving.

Tactical Medical Solutions wants their customers to have it better than they had it. TacMed was founded on experience that is used to improve existing products and develop new ones. Tactical Medical Solutions is proud to say that when customers think of TacMed, they think uncompromising - uncompromising commitment to delivering top-quality product, tactical knowledge, customized training, and reliability in the field. In critical moments, when uncertainty abounds, TacMed product is the one sure thing.

Nominations Are Due Tomorrow!

Posted: April 12, 2018

The 2018 Annual Conference is just around the corner and we need your help in nominating individuals or organizations deserving of recognition by our association for their work or accomplishments in making our communities safer! CACP has several categories of recognition for individual or organizational excellence. I need your help as law enforcement leaders in nominating deserving organizations, fellow chiefs, officers, and volunteers for one of CACPs many awards.

The awards, guidelines, and submition instructions can be found on the CACP website at: https://cacp.memberclicks.net/recognition-awards

Awards need to be submitted no later than April 13, 2018. Nominations can be submitted by email to [email protected].

Also needed is at least one representative from each region to volunteer to review the award categories. This does not take a lot of time and is critical to a fair review of the nominations. If you are interested please email [email protected] or call 303-235-2911.
