Public Policy and Advocacy The Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police takes an active, nonpartisan role in developing, monitoring and supporting quality law enforcement legislation – working closely with community groups, legislators, the media, private business, and other law enforcement organizations toward this goal. Donations help support legislative advocacy and political action efforts (on behalf of CACP) that ensure Colorado’s community stakeholders, state legislators, and the public understand timely, complex legislative issues related to law enforcement and public safety. Wellness The Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police provides opportunities for peer support, psychological consultation, and programs that help enable discussions and advice to assist in the wellness of Colorado Police Chiefs. Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation
The challenges faced by agency heads and departments to honorably memorialize officers who have died in the line of duty, and care for their families and department personnel are daunting. The sad reality is there will be more, and your agency could be next.
The Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation (CFHF) will bring together multi-agency professionals with a variety of specialized skills to respond,and assist any organization with a memorial service befitting a hero as needed.
