Course Description:
Founder of Pressure Point Control Tactics, Mr. Bruce Siddle continues his research in ways to aid officers in protecting themselves during confrontations and to provide a better defense to both the officer and department in the arena of litigation. His research has expanded to include Threat Pattern Recognition (TPR). With the expansion and implementation of this research Mr. Siddle has changed the name of the company to Human Factors Research Group (HFRG).
This class is a five day, 40 hour class for individuals desiring to become certified instructors in HFRG/PPCT Defensive Tactics (DT), and Threat Pattern Recognition (TPR). The DT portion of the class is the basic HFRG/PPCT training, which utilizes gross motor skills. HFRG/PPCT is backed through Legal, Medical and Tactical research conducted by HFRG. The TPR portion of the class is new and directed towards officers recognizing micro movements of an offender. By identifying these micro movements, the officer will be able to recognize the potential threat quicker, move off line and provide a greater chance of survivability.

Course Goals:
1. To instruct a subject control system which is compatible to the effects of survival stress.
2. To examine survival learning research and design methods for subject control systems.
3. To teach a subject control system based upon the four most common types of resistance.
