Line Of Duty Death Seminar - May 4, 2021

Experiencing a line of duty death is nothing any of us want to experience, let alone talk about. The reality, however, is none of us are immune from the potential of having such a tragedy occur within our departments.

We can never be fully prepared for a line of duty death and the impacts it will have on our agency, the officer’s family and the community. When a line of duty death occurs, it thrusts agency leadership into an incredibly daunting situation. Law enforcement executives must wrestle with:

  • How do we best support the officer's family?
  • How do we best support the women and men of our agency?
  • How do we begin the difficult task of organizing a memorial service that will bring in thousands of people?

When: Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 from 0900 to 1200

Where: ACSO Substation 4201 E. 72nd Ave.,Commerce City, CO 80022

Colorado Fallen Heroes Foundation was created in order to help ease the burden on agencies suffering through such a tragedy, as we just recently saw in Boulder last month. CFHF will be presenting to agency leaders how to plan for such a tragedy before it strikes. They will discuss:

  • How CFHF can provide immediate assistance to agencies to include memorial planning.
  • How agencies can best support the victim officer’s family.
  • How agencies can best support its employees.
  • How agencies can be as prepared as possible should it experience the unthinkable.

Please join us either in-person (limited to 50) or online for this very important seminar by contacting Michelle King at [email protected] April 28th.
