Granby Police Department is hosting a Scoped Rifle for Patrol Class May 24th, 25th, and 26th

Posted: May 10, 2021

The class will be taught by Neal Ash of Precision Rifle Workshop (PRW), and held at the Byers Range in Parshall, Colorado. Enrollment fees for this class have been covered by the North West Regional Post grant. Agencies interested in attending only need to provide ammunition and cover lodging and per diem costs for their officers. We currently have 6 spots available.

Attached flyer here. Some changes: registrations should be made directly through Sgt. Jeffrey Heitzenrater at the below email. Due to the current ammunition shortage, the instructor has adjusted the round count to 200 rounds for semi-auto, 100 rounds for bolt guns, and 100 rounds for handgun. If you are able, I would bring the full round count just in case.

As far as lodging for the class, we are working on discounted rates for River Run RV Resort in Granby. They have high end rental cabins, as well as RV spots. I will try to get the discounted rates verified this week. There are other options in the Granby and Hot Sulphur Springs areas as well.

Please contact me with any other questions.
