Journal of Colorado Policing Volume 6 Issue 2: Fall 2021 Has Been Released

The latest edition of the Journal of Colorado Policing has been published! 

The journal serves as a professional forum for the dissemination of original research, legal updates, training strategies as well as best practices and literature reviews. The journal incorporates the expertise of both practitioners and academics to achieve these goals. Promoting the publication of peer-reviewed research and providing sound advice from practitioners for law enforcement within the state of Colorado are the journal’s main goals.

Register for Mid-Year Conference 2022

Join CACP on January 19-21 for our 2022 Mid-Year Conference! This is one of two opportunities that CACP offers for all Colorado Chiefs of Police to meet and learn about relevant information about law enforcement. The conference will be held at the in Loveland, CO January 19-21, 2022. We will also be hosting the Executive Leadership Training on January 17-18, 2022 as well. 

CACP's Mid-Year Conference will be held at the same time, and in conjunction with, the County Sheriffs of Colorado (CSOC). CACP and CSOC will share several combined sessions, meals, and have access to CSOC's large exhibit hall at no extra cost. CACP will also have sessions dedicated to their attendees only. Session topics include:

Congresssional Report: Infrastructure Act and Public Safety Broadband

Please take a look below for information about provisions of the recently enacted Infrastructure bill.  One major component provides additional funding  to build out internet broadband--and public safety agencies are among the local entities eligible for these funds.
