Cryptocurrency Investigations Summit Offered on 4/6-8 from 12:30pm -5:00pm (EST)

During this three-day summit subject matter experts will present cases related to the basics of digital currency, how to identify the potential for digital currency as an element of your investigation, prosecutorial considerations, and the use of analytical tools by Subject Matter Experts. Each session will be comprised of a case presentation followed by formal discussion of relevant best practices and teaching points. The summit will culminate with a subject matter expert panel discussion. 

Active Shooter 360 - Lessons Learned Offered on 4/23 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm (EST)

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) invites you to attend the Leadership Series: Active Shooter 360. Lessons learned from the successful response and investigation into the Madden tournament mass shooting and the training roadmap it took to get there. During this presentation, Clay County (FL) Sheriff Michelle Cook and Undersheriff Ronald Lendvay will be discussing various law enforcement areas as they pertain to the crisis readiness and response. The critical areas of discussion will include incident command system, media communications, the Victim Assistance Center, partnerships and jurisdiction, the National Compassion Fund, tactical and incident management, the use of Incident Command System, officer advanced medical training, and pitfalls of over-convergence.
